Human-centered social utility
Memo-Me
A social utility designed around emotional intelligence, meaningful human connection, and contextual organization.
- SwiftUI
- User-centered design
Helping users manage relationships and social spaces in a more intentional, emotionally aware way.
Context
Contact lists and social apps optimize for volume. They rarely help you be a better friend, colleague, or family member.
Challenge
Design a social utility that supports emotional context — not just names and numbers.
My role
Product concept, UX and interaction design, SwiftUI implementation.
Process
I started from journeys, not screens. What does it feel like to remember someone thoughtfully? What supports that?
Design exploration
Explored several information architectures — timeline, spaces, moments — and iterated on the ones that made the product feel warm without feeling sentimental.
Technical execution
Built in SwiftUI with a strong focus on transitions and contextual state.
Final solution
A social utility that helps users show up for the people they care about, in a way that feels personal and intentional.
Outcome
A design and prototype that reframes 'contacts' as relationships worth tending.
Learnings
Emotional software is a design problem before it's an engineering one.
Key product decisions
- Center the product on emotional intelligence and meaningful connection.
- Organize contacts by context, not by alphabet.
- Use thoughtful transitions to reinforce continuity between people and moments.
- Balance emotional value with practical utility.
